The Department for International Development (DFID), in partnership with West Midlands’ Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs), invites you to attend a Regional Supplier Event.

Date: Friday 3rd November, 2017

Time: 9am-12pm

DfID has recently undertaken a review of its commissioning processes and we would like to identify ways to improve relationships with prospective suppliers, including broadening and developing our supply base by encouraging new entrants (including SME suppliers) into our market and win business delivering a huge variety of services across the world.

The event will provide information on DFID’s work and pipeline of business coming up over the next 18-24 months and how suppliers can get involved in delivering Foreign Economics Aid Related Services such as:

  • Research and Development
  • Economic Development
  • Governance & Security
  • Education Services
  • Construction Services e.g. Water, Sanitation and Hygiene

DFID is interested in speaking with organisations who are willing & able to work in the above disciplines in the following geographical locations where DFID has offices:  Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Burma, Caribbean, China, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Nepal, Nigeria, Occupied Palestinian Territories, Pakistan, Rwanda and Burundi, Sierra Leone and Liberia, Somalia, South Africa, South Sudan, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Yemen, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
