As part of the Exporting is GREAT Campaign, the Department for International Trade’s mobile facility the Export Hub is on the move, visiting locations across the West Midlands. We are proud to be teaming up with each of the region’s Growth Hubs to provide businesses with a single point of access for business support solutions that will help you grow your business.

Our roadshow events will give you essential information on:

  • The benefits of selling overseas and how your business can get started
  • The key steps and processes you need to think about
  • The support available to help you take your first or next step
  • Wider business growth solutions

The event….

This workshop is designed for senior decision makers whose company are at an early stage of selling overseas, it will provide you with:-

  • An overview of the programme and the support and advice available from their International Trade Adviser (ITA).
  • An introduction to some of the key business principles which are important going forward into export markets (such as export market research, selecting an appropriate route to market, internationalizing an offer, shipping and documentation, getting paid, protecting IPR etc.)
  • Networking opportunity - with time available for discussions with other delegates, an ITA and the trainer.
