We have designed this Bootcamp and Expo to promote businesses across the Midlands.

On offer is a FREE to attend networking business networking breakfast (7am until 9am) which gives you the opportunity to meet and speak to local businesses, a FREE to attend Expo (7am until 2.30pm) dedicated to smaller businesses to promote and sell their products and services, a paid for ticket to a business boot camp (9.30am until 1pm) and a FREE session with GOOGLE DIGITAL GARAGE (1pm until 2pm) to help businesses grow. Join us at one event, both, or just as a visitor to the free expo.

The event will showcase seminars featuring GOOGLE DIGITAL GARAGE, alongside entrepreneurs and experts from the local business community, all presenting on a range of subjects with vital information designed to help you grow your business.

EXPO (7am until 2.30pm) and NETWORKING BREAKFAST (7am until 9am).

BOOTCAMP AND EXPO (9.30am until 1pm)

TICKET COST: £15 for FSB and Directors Club Members and £20 for non members. Great value - includes tea/coffee and bagged lunch!

AGENDA:

9.00am - 9.30am - Registration and wrist band collection
9.45am - Welcome by hosts Dave Sharpe and Sandra Garlick
10.00am - Make money, save money and stay relevant by meeting the needs of the digitally-savvy customer. David Taylor, DNASix.
- An expert on digital marketing and social media, David will empower you to meet the challenges and opportunities posed by today's digitally-savvy customers.
10.20am - Natural Networking. Michelle Mills-Porters, Ensize UK
- Natural Networking is all about building relationships through sub-conscious communication. Looking at virtual and actual networking, Michelle will be sharing loads of practical tips for you to implement immediately. This will include non-verbal communication such as body language, eye-contact, recognising behaviour patterns and image traits as well as non-visual communication for e.g. phone call, emails and the written word in our marketing or social media.
10.40am - BREAKOUT and opportunity to browse stands.
11.00am - Power of video marketing for your business. John Dixon and Ralph Tittley, Brightest Bulb.
- John and Ralph will demonstrate how to record, edit and distribute a high-quality video on a smart phone, create a video at an event live in under thirty minutes. This will include demonstrations of how to present to camera, interviews with members of the audience and lighting techniques.
11.30am - How to use Digital PR to connect to Influencers and Journalists across TV, Radio and Print. Rachael Taplin, BlueBoo Media.
- The value of Digital PR is immense, not only do you have the possibility to get exposed to a targeted audience, people also believe the media more than they believe most traditional marketing campaigns. Influencer Marketing and Digital PR is the easiest way to connect to the right type of communities, influencers and journalists and indeed to become an influencer within your own sector.
12.00pm - LUNCH - Brown bag lunch served upstairs and opportunity to browse stands

1.00pm - Reaching new customers online. The Digital Garage from Google
- Discover how to attract new customers by optimising your presence on Google, learn to gather consumer insights and get started with online advertising.
1.50pm - Summary of Take Away Top Tips.
