Understanding our digital futures, the 5G testbed and how digital technologies can be playfully applied as we head towards City of Culture.
A symposium event hosted by the StoryFutures Creative Cluster project to explore how digital tools, technologies and their implementation can help make Coventry the most innovative and accessible City of Culture year.
Over the next 5 years the West Midlands has been designated the 5G test bed and Coventry is one of the key hubs. With the opportunity of City of Culture and the Commonwealth Games ahead of us, what is the opportunity?
We have an internationally significant gaming cluster on our doorstep in Leamington Spa and a groundswell of innovative artists working across Coventry, how can they collaborate, what can they offer to unlock the potential for creative innovation.
With the help of Local, Regional and National Stakeholders we will be asking a number of questions including: What is 5G and what are the opportunities of the 5G testbed? How can collaborations with artists and creatives support city growth agendas? What role can digital tools play in strengthening communities? Where is the exemplary practice and what can we learn?
