This event has gathered together key stakeholders from a range of disciplines to look at how to create a truly sustainable low carbon community. Held in association with the RSA (Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufacture and Commerce) we will explore not what communities of the future might look like but what is happening right now to deliver change.
From the provision of homes, mobility and food, to recycling and materials management, to sourcing environmental and sustainable products, to a different way of supplying energy, we hear examples of what is happening right now to Make Places that Last.
Who Should Attend
Policy Makers, Social Housing Providers, Energy/Sustainability/Estate Managers/Advisors in the Public/Private/Education and Third Sector and suppliers of low carbon sustainable products and services.
To be followed at 2:00 - 3.30 by the RSA in ConveRSAtion with Sue Harris - Chair of the RSA Sustainability Network. A free fringe event led by the RSA Sustainability Network designed to debate the key issues raised and consider the next steps we can take locally.
