Coventry & Warwickshire Business Festival in Full Flow at the End of Week One!

The inaugural Coventry & Warwickshire Business Festival has finished its first week on a high, with the 114-stong programme of events now halfway through. 

which got underway on Monday 20 November, is an annual, two-week long programme of business events put on by local companies to encourage collaboration, networking, innovation, learning and sharing opportunities amongst other Coventry and Warwickshire businesses and individuals.

The wide range of events encompasses seminars, lectures, workshops, conferences, award ceremonies in many sectors ranging from automotive and advanced manufacturing, construction and creative, to digital, culture and tourism, games development and serious gaming – in every district in Coventry and Warwickshire.

At the close of the first week, the Festival has already seen over 50 events take place, including a live Autumn statement review run by the Coventry & Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce; Warwickshire Country Council’s extensive Food and Drink Expo held at the prestigious Warwickshire Golf Club and digital and broadband for business events such as CityFibre’s ‘Future Proofing Your Business in the Digital Age.’

Coventry University’s commercial recruitment agency, The FutureWorks has also hosted one of its seminars this week, entitled ‘Keeping One Step Ahead in Employment Law’. There has been an impressively-attended Champions’ networking event and the Federation of Small Business held its Small Business Conference at the home to the Business Festival’s headline partner, the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC).

Next week will see the start of the second week of the Festival with over 50 more events including digital workshops, tourism, logisitics, HR, health and wellbeing, manufacturing events and so much more.

The Business Festival has been developed by the Coventry and Warwickshire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) and the Coventry & Warwickshire Growth Hub and the headline partner is the MTC.
