Advanced Manufacturing: Risks & Rewards
Organiser
THE future of the advanced manufacturing industry in the West Midlands is taking on critical importance not just for the new Midlands Engine but for the UK economy as a whole.
However, the challenges of successfully operating in the sector are mounting – especially for firms within the supply chain.
Therefore, overcoming risk and meeting these challenges head-on will ultimately determine how successful these companies become.
TheBusinessDesk.com, in association with leading law firm Wright Hassall and accountants and business advisor Moore Stephens, is staging a special event which focusses on these challenges and how they can be overcome.
Taking place at the Manufacturing Technology Centre at Ansty Park, near Coventry on Thursday September 22, a special panel of business representatives will discuss the main issues and offer their advice on how firms should proceed.
The panel features: Rowan Crozier, CEO of Birmingham-based Brandauer, Jason Aldridge, managing director of Coventry-based aerospace supplier, Arrowsmith Engineering, Pete Maguire, commercial partner at Wright Hassall and Ross Northall, partner, Moore Stephens. Chairing the debate will be Duncan Tift, deputy editor, TheBusinessDesk.com.
The event will begin at 8am, breakfast provided, ready for an 8.30am start. The discussion will be followed by an opportunity for questions and the event will close by 10am.
The event is free to attend but you must register in advance.
