Please note due to high demand, we will be limiting attendence to two staff from each business.

We are offering an intermediate Revit for Architecture training course over 2 days. This is not for someone who has never used the software, but for new starters who want to build on some basic knowledge and understanding of the software.

Who Should Attend

  • Before thinking about attending this course you should be able to comfortably perform the basics as listed below.
  • Navigate the Revit interface.
  • Work with Grids and Levels
  • Use and modify system families. Walls, Floors, Stairs and Roofs.
  • Use the editing tools: Offset, trim, fillet etc.
  • Be able to create basic 3D models and generate 2D information
  • Basic understanding of Revit materials.

Day One:

  • 9.00 – 9.30 Networking and registration
  • 9.30 -10.00 Introduction and why its not like Autocad
  • 10.00 – 11.00 Tour of the interface and setting up the model
  • 11-00 - 11.30 Coffee & Network
  • 11.30 – 13.30 The Revit Basics – Levels and Grids and the build panel.
  • 13.30 – 14.30 Lunch & Network
  • 14.30 – 16.30 Modelling a basic house (part 1)

Day Two

  • 9.30 - 10.00 Recap
  • 10.00 – 11.00 Developing the basic house
  • 11-00 - 11.30 Coffee and Network
  • 11.30 – 12.30 Roof Options
  • 12.30 – 13.30 Stairs and Railings
  • 13.30 – 14.30 Lunch & Networking
  • 14.30 – 15.30 Sections and Details
  • 15.30 – 16.30 Set up Sheet

Refreshments throughout the day and a buffet lunch.

This workshop is funded by ERDF Green Business Program and as such only SMEs based in Coventry and Warwickshire are able to attend. Eligibility will be verified when completing registration details.

SMEs who attend may also be able to access grant assistance from delivery partners to fund the costs of software licensing and certification.
