The movement towards a circular economy is seen as being one of the most effective ways of boosting competitiveness, fostering sustainable economic growth and generating new jobs. Businesses of all sizes, in every sector, are using the circular economy to create a competitive edge. Circular approaches re-think product design, material choice and business models to reduce risk, increase customer engagement and improve competitiveness.
This event is for small to medium sized enterprises (SME's) from any sectors wanting to investigate Circular Economy approaches for their business. Hear from organisations about the work they are involved in from changing how they source, recycle and dispose of waste (including food, paper, plastic, office furniture, warehouse materials, textiles and electronics) to looking at the design of new buildings and engaging employees in behaviour change.
After the event, further support and guidance will be given by the Green Business Programme, to help your organisation quantify energy and cost savings. Refreshments throughout the morning will be provided. This event is funded by the ERDF Green Business Programme and as such only elible organisations who are SMEs based in Coventry and Warwickshire are able to attend.
