HS2 Enabling Works Meet The Contractor Day

You are invited to register your interest to attend the HS2 Enabling Works Meet the Contractor Day and discover imminent enabling works supply chain opportunities which are being procured by three joint venture contractors. Deadline to register interest is Tuesday 18 April 2017. Three joint venture contractors covering the north, central and south of the HS2 Phase 1 route from Euston to Birmingham will present their current and future opportunities, procurement routes, and be available to meet suppliers throughout the day.

- Catering Various opportunities
- Consents Management Environmental, planning and traffic consents with experience of working with local councils in London
- Contestable Utilities Design, procurement and construction of utility diversions, protections and removals, obtaining approvals and all consents/ permits
- Demolition Pre-demolition surveys and demolition of structures, residential and commercial buildings and ground remediation
- Design Civil design, stuctural, ecology mitigation works, ground remediation, highways, structures and watercourse diversions, utilities, architectural, services, highway and carriage design, habitat design

- Highways including structures Design and construction of carriageways, footpaths, realignments, roundabouts and structures, footbridges, temporary footbridges, road and rail bridges
- Historic Buildings Surveys and Assessments Specialist (HERDS) Surveys Geohpysics, UAV lidar, Photogrammetry, Metal detecting, Environmental sampling, Geo-arch deposit
- Instrumentation and Monitoring Monitoring of new, existing or third-party structures or assets, including post construction monitoring, I&M to support construction as it progresses, track and embankment monitoring, monitoring of listed buildings near works. Environmental monitoring including air, noise, groundwater and surface water quality
- Invasive Species Mitigation (Various opportunities)
- Noise and Vibration ID Ground movement/settlement studies and impact assessments of existing third-party buildings, structures and infrastructure resulting from movements. Proactively manage construction related noise, vibration and air quality to cut emissions, meet sustainability targets and reduce the likelihood of causing disturbance to neighbouring communities
- Noise Insulation Residential properties including listed buildings
- Noise, Vibration, Air and Dust Mitigation Noise and vibration baseline monitoring for noise from stationary systems. Implementing measurements and regular assessments of air quality
- Planting / Landscaping Various landscaping and planting requirements
- Personal Protective Equipment (Various opportunities)
- Roadsweepers (Various opportunities)
- Security Manned security solutions including CCTV systems. Suppliers required to have SiA, all staff vetted to BS7858, no SiA enforcements for 3 years, experience of working in two or more of following environments: large construction sites, corporate sites, government or public buildings
- Structural Works Temporary bridge structure requirements, small civil engineering packages, foundation design and piling
- Surveys - General Archaeology (incl. investigations),Pre-demolition, Ecological, Environmental, Engineering, Ground water monitoring, Pre-GI (ecology and archaeology), Invasive species.
- Temporary Roadways/ Haul Roads Minor civils schemes, including temporary and permanent diversions and roadworks.
- Traffic Management Design and implementation of traffic management schemes, including SMEs with experience of working with the London Authorities
- Waste Contractors Waste management solutions Skips, Muck Away, Waste Management Planning, waste segregation and recycling, waste reporting
- Watercourse/ Drainage works Watercourse diversions and drainage works.
- Wayfinding Variable message signs, general site signage, permanent signage for new highway and landscaping works.
- Wheel Washers Construction site wheel washers.
