Pitchfest West Midlands 2016 // Venturefest West Midlands

Pitchfest is a unique pitching competition - an opportunity for entrepreneurs with start-up, early stage and growth businesses to increase their profile in front of a national audience of investors.

It is jointly organised by Aston University, the University of Birmingham and the University of Warwick, in associaton with Venturefest West Midlands.

There are a series of workshops and pitching panels throughout February, March and April to help businesses develop their pitch before the Pitchfest final which takes place on Thursday 23rd June 2016.

For ambitious entrepreneurs, this is an opportunity to:

  • present to leading investors seeking investment opportunities
  • take advantage of pitching advice from industry leaders and experts
  • raise the profile of your business

For investors, this is an opportunity to:

  • gain access to well-prepared and dynamic businesses going through rapid growth

All small business taking part will receive support to develop their funding pitch through a series of workshops run by each of the Universities. There is also plenty of opportunity to practice the pitch, delivering directly to panels of leading experts and industry professionals during the selection rounds.

Participation is free of charge

Applications received before Wednesday 16th March will be put forward to take part in the next workshop on Tuesday 22nd March 2016
