Alister de Ternant, managing director of Associate Events said, “This workshop is completely free to attend and is open to any business or organisation thinking of staging their own event as part of the Business Festival.

“We want people to use this time to come and find out more about the Business Festival process and how to put on a really useful event with stimulating, engaging content that will be attractive to the audience - and that people will want to attend. This is a great chance to ask questions and to get a real understanding of how to get the most out of running events in the Festival.”

Headline partnered by Inspire Insurance, the annual Business Festival was developed by the Coventry and Warwickshire Local Enterprise Partnership (CWLEP) and the CWLEP Growth Hub. It is now in its third year and attracts around 5,000 attendees and 100 events each year.

Craig Humphrey, managing director of the CWLEP Growth Hub said, “The Business Festival is the region’s largest business event. It is a time when the whole business community joins together to collectively showcase the strengths and outstanding potential for investment in this region, combining our efforts to be recognised as the Knowledge Capital of the UK.”

“We want as many businesses to get involved as possible, but we will be closely assessing each application to ensure that the events meet the criteria, are relevant, timely, useful and work well within the overall calendar. The steering group wants to send a clear message of ‘quality over quantity’ so that we end up with a tight, comprehensive programme that is beneficial to both businesses and the regional economy.”
