Join a Trade Mission to the U.S.

In May 2015, Join a select group of UK SMEs in a best practice tour of manufacturing in the U.S. Mid-West, including export advice from key U.S. agencies.

Organised by Coventry University, this tour will give UK SMEs the opportunity to make in-territory contacts, get expert advice from those on the ground, gain insight into U.S. manufacturing business practice and consider innovative ideas from across the Atlantic.

The programme is open to UK based manufacturing companies and is set to include:

Behind-the-scenes visits to 8 different U.S. manufacturing companies in the automotive, energy, metal fabrication, agricultural machinery and motorsport sectors.
Expert advice on exporting to the U.S. from UKTI staff based in the U.S.
U.S market briefing from the Chicago Consulate.
Informal networking events in Indiana and Wisconsin, supported by the UKTI and local economic development agencies.
Workshop on quick response manufacturing from a leading U.S. manufacturing institute
Introductions with two leading U.S. universities – Purdue University and University of Wisconsin-Madison.

This event has a limited amount of places, which will be allocated on a first come-first served basis.

Price per person is £2,995.00
(Price includes flights, accommodation, transport in the US, a welcome reception, a group dinner and ticket to the world famous Indy 500. A deposit of £500 per delegate is required upon registration to secure a place. The remaining balance is to be paid 10 weeks before the event.)
