Chamber refreshes membership packages as firms look to bounce back from Covid-19 crisis

Businesses – of all sizes and sectors – are being urged to find out how they can tap into help from the Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce to help them bounce back from the Covid-19 crisis.

The Chamber has refreshed its membership packages to help companies identify the support they need to take their business to the next level as the regional economy emerges from the pandemic.

Despite the unprecedented economic conditions over the past 12 months, the Chamber has continued to grow its member base and, with the launch of the refreshed levels of membership, more and more companies from across the city and the county can tap into the range of services on offer.

Chamber membership is now split into six different identities starting with Business Builder, that will offer practical support to help individuals build their dream business during their first 12 to 14 months of trading.

Business Talent will help companies and individuals to develop a new generation of business leaders and is designed for young professionals, entrepreneurs and learners.

Firms that want to utilise a range of Chamber services, including networking and the FinditinCW service to help grow their business, can benefit from Business Connect, while firms looking to start trading overseas and tap into international opportunities should opt for the Business Global membership.

Business Engage allows firms to engage with other established corporate businesses and growing companies in the region, with greater opportunities for knowledge-sharing and partnership working.

The final strand of Chamber membership is Business Influence which will place members at the heart of the region’s economic strategy and will bring key players together to work towards a collective benefit for Coventry and Warwickshire as well as having much stronger brand links with the Chamber.

Hazel Pilling, Membership Manager of the Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce, said businesses are looking to rebuild after a difficult year.

She said: “The Covid-19 crisis has been the most difficult period for businesses that any of us can remember but there is a real sense and feeling now that many are ready to emerge from the crisis and start to grow.

“Over the past year, we’ve been a first port of call for so many businesses facing the day-to-day challenges brought on by the pandemic. We’ve been there for companies who needed a trusted source of information, HR and legal advice or support with accessing grant funding.

“And, of course, we still be there offering that kind of support to companies across the region but what our new memberships really help businesses to do is to come to us and identify the right package for them to achieve their goals.

“We are really excited to be launching our new identities to help businesses at every stage of their development – making it really clear and simple on the types of products and services they can receive from us.

“It is the same excellent, value-for-money benefits and services that were on offer before but the new identities really help us to support companies – both existing members and new ones – with what they want to achieve.”
