Stratford restaurants are ready to re-open thanks to a deep clean
Lambs, The Opposition and The Vintner protects staff and customers with 30-day microbe-shield sanitisation process and new antibacterial technology
Three Stratford restaurants have reopened their doors after enlisting the help of a naitonal hygiene company headquartered in the town to deep clean their premises and ensure they stay in tip-top condition.
Lambs, The Opposition and The Vintner have teamed up with Stratford based Filta Group to thoroughly sanitise their premises as lockdown continues to ease and businesses and public spaces reopen in the town.
The firm has developed a new service which not only increases the level of protection to businesses from viruses, but also to consistently monitor infection.
And thanks to this high level of vigilance when it comes to protecting their customers, the three restaurants were ready to reopen on July 16.
Marcos Torres, co-owner of Lambs, The Opposition and The Vintner, said: “We’re delighted to have opened to the public, but we could only do so if we knew our staff and customers would be protected.
“This is why we engaged Filta, in addition to the implementation of all recommended safety measures and adhering to social distancing.
“We’d like to thank everyone who has supported us to get to this point, and we look forward to welcoming our customers through our doors once again.”
In addition to conventional sanitisation, Filta has partnered with biotech company Zoono - suppliers of a revolutionary antibacterial technology that continues to protect surfaces for up to 30 days.
The product was applied to surfaces in the three restaurants using a process called ‘fogging’, which permanently bonds to them to set up a nano-molecular layer of ‘pins’.
These create a hostile barrier to germs, physically impaling and destroying them as they come into contact with the Zoono layer.
Filta’s technicians will make ongoing visits to the restaurants every 30 days, creating a report after they swab surfaces and use a specialist ATP reader to ensure the premises are hygienically clean. Routine cleaning can continue and does not disrupt the Zoono molecule or its antimicrobial activity.
As part of the service, a trained technician has also educated the restaurants’ cleaners on how to keep the environment sanitised so that cleaners can also maintain their own hygiene measures with an ‘antiviral maintenance pack’ of Filta’s all-purpose sanitiser.
Filta also offers the services of a retained environmental health expert, who can advise business owners and teachers on the best strategies for maintaining a consistent and effective level of hygiene to keep their premises safe while the COVID-19 infection remains a threat to the community.
Edward Palin, Commercial Director of Filta Group, said: “As more and more businesses continue to open-up by the day, it’s imperative that top quality sanitisation is the number one priority.
“This is incredibly important for both the protection of individual people and to avoid another detrimental lockdown situation.
“While we work across the UK, it’s great to work with Marcos in our local community of Stratford. We’re really happy to help get our town up-and-running, working together for the safety of our people.”
Nadhim Zahawi, MP for Stratford-on-Avon, said: "This has been an incredibly difficult time for the hospitality industry, but it's excellent news that bars and restaurants across Stratford-on-Avon are now able open their doors once again.
“Customer service, satisfaction and safety are second nature to these businesses, so I am not the least bit surprised that they are working so hard to follow all the Government's guidance and make their premises Covid-secure using services like the Filta Group's sanitisation."
And Joe Baconnet, Director at Stratforward Business Improvement District, said: "Measures like Filta will give confidence to the visitors and customers as we welcome back friends both old and new to enjoy our town and businesses."
Businesses are being now supported by Stratford District Council to promote the safe reopening of the High Streets in response to Covid-19 through the Government’s Reopening High Streets Safely Fund which is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
The project has received £116, 036 of funding from the England European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020.
