Warwickshire entrepreneurs urged to make use of support with business experts set to gather at £5.5m development

A Warwickshire business hub which is home to dozens of entrepreneurs has called for new business owners to make use of the ‘excellent support’ available in the region.

Space Business Centre Warwick has launched its inaugural business support coffee morning to help entrepreneurs access funding and capitalise on growth opportunities in Warwickshire.

Representatives from the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB), Coventry and Warwickshire Growth Hub and Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce as well as Warwickshire County Council and Warwick District Council will be on hand on Wednesday, October 4 from 9am to 11am to speak to business owners and signpost grants and advice available to them.

The £5.5 million site, created and operated by AC Lloyd, features 61 flexible business units available on monthly rolling agreements, and is over 50 per cent capacity after opening in February this year.

Kat Skerry, Site Manager at Space Business Centre Warwick, said: “The business organisations and networks in and around Warwickshire provide excellent support to a variety of industries, and we want to make sure people across the region know what is on offer.

“Thanks to organisations like the Growth Hub, Chamber of Commerce and FSB, Warwickshire is fortunate to have an incredible business community, with many of our tenants having useful conversations around the grant funding and strategic advice that is available.

“Support and guidance are invaluable at any stage in a business’ development, but is absolutely crucial to those in their first months and years after setting up.

“We hope this event will help others across the region who, like many of our tenants, are keen to make the most of everything that Warwickshire has to offer to achieve sustainable growth for their business.”
