Coventry & Warwickshire Business Festival Proving a Huge Hit

The Coventry & Warwickshire Business Festival has stormed into the annual business calendar and in its first year, has already become the region’s largest business event.

With just under three weeks until the start of the inaugural Festival, there are over 100 business events in the programme – the vast majority of which are completely free to attend.

Driven by the Coventry and Warwickshire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) and the Coventry & Warwickshire Growth Hub, and supported by headline partner, the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC), the Business Festival will be taking place for the first time from Monday 20th November to Friday 1st December.

Events are being run by business for business and are taking place in all corners of the region. They range across different subject matters and encompass impressive trade shows and conferences to workshops, seminars and small networking meetings.

Jonathan Browning, chair of the Coventry and Warwickshire Local Enterprise Partnership, said: “It is now less than three weeks to go until the launch of the first Coventry & Warwickshire Business Festival and we are on track to deliver a memorable two weeks of events in a myriad of sectors.

“The Coventry & Warwickshire Business Festival was launched to bring the whole business community together as well as promote the excellent opportunities available to inward investors and reinforce our reputation as the Knowledge Capital of the UK.”

Craig Humphrey, managing director of the Coventry & Warwickshire Growth Hub, said: “Coventry & Warwickshire has completely embraced the businesses festival concept by collectively uniting to form an extensive and diverse programme, comprising more than 100 stimulating events.

“The Festival has already grown into the region’s largest business event which is a fabulous achievement in our first year and truly demonstrates the appetite of the business community for something original and inspirational.

“There is a far-reaching geographical spread with events in every district of the region – North Warwickshire, Nuneaton and Bedworth, Rugby, Warwick, Stratford-on-Avon and, of course, Coventry. There are events in every one of the eight key sectors – from professional and financial services; automotive and advanced manufacturing; education and logistics; to games and serious gaming; healthcare and creative; digital and culture sectors.

“There will be so much going on over the fortnight, offering a wealth of collaboration, networking, innovation, learning and sharing opportunities. The Business Festival will have something that will appeal to everyone whether they are a small or micro–business owner or large corporate organisation, providing them with many ways to improve, develop and grow.”

The Coventry & Warwickshire Business Festival is supported by a number of organisations which all understand the importance and relevance of the Festival and want to contribute to its success. The Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC) is headlining the 2017 Business Festival and partners also include Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce, Coventry University, Jaguar Land Rover and the University of Warwick.
