New homes in Kenilworth
Housing company Milverton Homes has this week taken ownership of three of 62 homes at Stoneleigh View, Crewe Lane, Kenilworth.
The semi-detached three-bedroom properties have been built to a high quality with energy efficiency measures as standard including solar panels and air source heat pumps. The homes will now be marketed as private rentals, providing much-needed family homes in the town.
This is a significant milestone for Milverton Homes and their ambition to give local people the opportunity to rent a high-quality, energy efficient home, with a trusted landlord in an area where housing prices are well above the national average and rental properties, particularly family homes, are in short supply.
These new homes on Stoneleigh View are in walking distance of the new Kenilworth School and Sixth Form.
Lisa Barker, Chair of Milverton Homes, said: "Our new homes offer those who want to live in our district the opportunity to rent a high quality and energy efficient home with an aim of driving up quality within the private rented sector. We very much look forward to welcoming the new tenants into their home.”
Adam Sharpe, Managing Director of Vistry, South West Midlands, said: “Vistry is delighted to be part of this incredible Joint Venture with Warwick District Council and Milverton Homes at Stoneleigh View. Together, we are working at the cutting edge of the zero-carbon agenda in housing by providing energy efficient mixed-tenure homes that meet the needs of the local community.”
