Coventry to welcome global businesses leading way in automation and robotics
Coventry is preparing to welcome a collection of global businesses leading the way in innovative automation and robotics technologies when an exhibition returns for a second year.
Automation UK will emphasise the importance of emerging technologies to the growth of the country’s economy and introduce businesses to solutions which could transform their future operations.
The exhibition, now in its second year, will be held at Coventry Building Society Arena on 18th and 19th June with more than 45 businesses at the cutting-edge of industrial automation and robotics.
It will see one of the largest national gatherings of industry experts in one of the world’s fastest growing sectors.
The robotics sector has experienced significant growth in recent years and year-on-year growth is predicted to continue, with the International Federation Robotics forecasting a 7% increase in 2024.
Across two days, Automation UK is set to attract decisions makers, buyers and sellers to see and test the latest industry products and services such as robots, robotic systems, systems integration, automation control parts and systems, and sensor and machine safety.
There will be live demonstrations of technologies in action and exhibitors launching new products.
The exhibition will run alongside a packed seminar programme to educate, motivate and encourage businesses to learn more about the advantages new innovations in robotics could bring to their business.
Keynote speaker and industry expert Vanessa Loiola, the founder of Valoy Automation will talk about ‘Enhancing Robotic Cell Performance with Strategic Programming Solutions’.
Mike Laughran, from Rockwell Automation, will also be speaking about Smart Manufacturing and how companies can quickly and easily deploy emerging technologies.
ABB, Fanuc UK, Piab, KUKA Robotics UK, Schubert UK, Festo and RARUK Automation are among the organisations set to exhibit.
The exhibition is owned and organised by BARA (British Automation & Robot Association) which is part of Automate UK.

Automation UK is co-located alongside Machine Vision Conference (MVC), which is organised by the UK Industrial Vision Association (UKIVA), at Coventry Building Society Arena.
